4W4W MISSION
The mission of Four Wheelers for Wilderness (4W4W) is the preservation of wild and scenic places and the preservation of the rustic character of routes and 4 wheel drive trails that provide ample access to them; for the long term benefit of all Americans and for future generations.4W4W promotes responsible vehicle use that preserves both traditional access and the wild and scenic character of lands that belong to all Americans. 4W4W supports administrative measures to prevent vehicle damage and to reclaim damaged lands; and legislation to permanently protect wild places within the National Wilderness Preservation System. 4W4W believes that such permanent protection may be obtained without requiring the elimination of existing reasonable opportunities for compatible recreation.
